Program Objectives: Each mentoring and coaching process may be strictly aimed at the individual M/WBE Company’s needs and customized to address specific needs for continuous improvement:· · Permits the mentoring and minority/women/small vendor firms to structure a program tailored to meet their mutual business needs. · Facilitates increased revenue potential for the minority/women vendor firm through additional contract support with the mentoring firm. · Encourages strong business relationships between a mentor firm and its minority/women vendor firm(s). · To encourage corporations and M/WBE firms to find innovative ways to do businesses. · To provide a selection and matching process, which is beneficial to both the corporation and M/WBE firm. · To provide for the development of mutually agreeable mentoring goals, which are challenging, achievable and measurable. · To foster opportunities for the M/WBE firm to become an integral part of the mentor's supplier base. · To provide, through the mentoring process, broad-based networking opportunities and business referrals for the M/WBE firm. · To develop a recognition program, which rewards program successes and encourages further program participation. · To publicize program successes to further highlight the GTMBC's added-value to their business constituents. ·
