The Golden Triangle Minority Business Council is the Gulf Coast region’s leading certifying agency of Minority/Women Business Enterprises & Historically Underutilized Business (M/WBE/HUB) Small Businesses for the public and private sectors in partnership with government, industry and businesses throughout the United Stated. Key to GTMBC’s success is its persistence and focus on “Quality” and “Value” as a service entity. GTMBC provides access to its Certification Policy Standards and information on its certified M/WBE/HUB Small Businesses to its corporate sponsors, government agencies, and purchasing managers. GTMBC’s certification process is recognized and accepted by its Southeast Texas Corporate Sponsors; in 2007 GTMBC’s certification became recognized and accepted by the global corporation Shell Oil; and, on August 2, 2010, GTMBC celebrated yet another milestone achievement in its 21 year history to become an approved HUB Certifying Agency for the State of Texas HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) Program in partnership with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
